Fighter All Weather (FAW) of the Fleet Air Arm.

Lost and Found. 890 Sqn. XJ 607.

This information comes to light in January 2008.

This extraordinary story comes from West Sussex, England. Two tail booms have been excavated on private property. They were found "out of the blue" while digging land drains.
They are clearly 890 Squadron identified by the Tail Fin markings and the registration is the same as that of the Nose Section which is in the Queensland Air Museum Australia. XJ 607.

Somebody somewhere must know the background and sequence of events to this strange story and help to unearth this mystery. Please Contact SeaVixen

We have some photographs of the excavations. Some interested onlookers over the fence.
