14th April 1964. 893 Sqn. HMS Victorious.
Sub.Lt. R. E. M. Wooley RN and Sub.Lt. B. G. Hughes RN took the Barrier at night following a tyre burst on Night DLP.
- Green Endorsement awarded. The damaged aircraft was left behind at Hong Kong.
Sub. Lt. Bob Wooley RN not injured in this incident is a lost airman listed in the Honorary Sea Vixen Roll of Honour.
